Affordability

This project is an abuse of the state Density Bonus Law, which was established to help meet affordable housing needs. The project includes only 4 low income units! This will hardly help us meet our affordable housing needs.  

Here are two recent "progress reports" on our RHNA (Regional Housing Needs Allocation) goals. As you can see Oceanside is consistently FAR SHORT on our housing goals in the LOW or VERY LOW income  categories.
