This project is an abuse of the state Density Bonus Law, which was established to help meet affordable housing needs. The project includes only 4 "low income" units! This will hardly help us meet our affordable housing needs. Per the City of Oceanside's Planning office, the "affordable" units reserved for the "very-low income" level would cost roughly $581,000!
