Since the project was approved by the Planning Commission at the October 13th meeting, we are now appealing the decision to the Oceanside City Council.  

The NUMBER ONE thing you can do to help is to meet with your District Councilmember to share your concerns.  The City of Oceanside has 5 Councilmembers.  These include the Mayor, Esther Sanchez, and 4 Councilmembers that represent 4 different geographical areas in Oceanside.  The Councilperson who represents the district around Guajome Park is Rick Robinson.  He is up for reelection next year, so we hope he will represent his constituents.  If you're not sure which district you are in, please use this link:   District lookup

Setting up an appointment is easy.  Just call or email using the contact info below.  Remember, these are our elected officials and it is their duty to hear our concerns!  Please reach out any time if you need help with this. 

If you are unable to meet in person, please send an email.  And if you do meet, also send an email recapping your meeting so it will be on the record. The addresses are below.

   Other ways to help:

• Help us distribute flyers and talk to neighbors.  This is a rural community and it's likely many people have not been reached.  

• Share our website or any of our materials on social media.

• Help manage our social media accounts. If you enjoy creating content, please reach out.  We need help managing our Instagram account.  

• Skills we especially need: photography, videography, graphics.  Contact us and we can fill you in!!
