Equestrian Zoning waiver

This is the only equestrian zoned area in Oceanside.  The area around the park has a long horse heritage which would be destroyed by this high-density project.  Below are some excerpts from Zillow listings for properties near the park and close to the project site.  They are all advertised as horse properties.   Many residents move to this area for this very special neighborhood feature. High-density and horses should not mix. 

The project waives the Equestrian Zoning standards that define this unique horse-friendly residential area.
